At a $5 price tag I had high hopes for this book and the first couple of pages were a bit of a disappointment. One thing that Dan Slott has been doing in all these Clone Conspiracy books is recapping the previous book. This is completely unnecessary to do every issue. I don't need 3 pages that were exactly like the last book.
The best part of this book is the short story at the end with Kingpin which serves to promote the next spider-man story with a return of Norman Osborn and the new Ben Reilly Book that will be an off shoot of the clone conspiracy.
Overall I give this book a 1/5 which is hard to say because this is my favorite character and really have not enjoyed him at all as of late. Maybe their needs to be a writer change. Maybe Slott has run his course. Either way we NEED a good Spider-Man story desperately.
